Mayowa, the first in a family of 5 was born 19 January. He bagged his degree at the Federal Polytechnic Ilaro where he studied Quantity Surveying.
In the year 2015, during his National Youth Service, he discovered his passion for Photography, which he began to nurture.
He is currently one of Nigeria’s most versatile Documentary Photographer whose works is focused on the environment and climate change.

Climate reporting is not popular in Nigeria.
This make many Nigerian unaware of the true state and danger we are already in.
The most saddening part is that many do not know that what they faced with are as a result of certain climate factors.
Photographs express ideas and information in a visual format, allowing them to reach large groups of people quickly and effectively.
This year, we would be creating more visual stories to create more awareness on climate change, highlighting environmental challenges and solutions.
